Shared Pain

by Kronin Wanderforth
When you saw my face I thought I would laugh
Did you really think I would change?
Grow older maybe
Here is the scratch you gave me
I see you remember
I have ways of getting rid of it
and I thought about it
But no
I wanted to see you again.
To hold you here, helpless
To run your hand along the scar
To drink in your fear
Tears won't help you
Oh but I love your tears
They make your face all blotchy
and puffy
Tastes salty, like my tears used to taste
I remember
I remember the days

I hold you, savor your pain
Then, no more, the emptiness in your eyes
You Bitch

You're dead
