You saw me
I wanted you
I saw your happiness and
I cried.
You noticed my tears
and you kissed me and kissed my tears away.
I smiled.
If you gave me your happiness, did you take my sadness from me?
I kiss you again and again, and take my sadness back.
I have your happiness but I cannot return it.
Then trapped within me
Is my sadness and your happiness
Can one win?
Do I care?
I look into your eyes, and see only emptyness
Your head rolls forward
and you lie, lifeless, in my lap
I cry
but your happiness is within me.

Lilo

by Kronin Wanderforth
You saw me in my madness and
I wanted to see you naked.
Once I saw your happiness and
I cried.
You saw my tears
and you kissed me and my tears away.
I felt better.
If you gave me your happiness, did you take my sadness from me?
I kiss you again and again, and take my sadness back.
I have your happiness but I cannot return it.
Then trapped within me
Is my sadness and your happiness
Can one win?
Do I care?
I look into your eyes, and see only emptyness
Your head rolls forward
and you lie, lifeless, in my lap
I cry
but your happiness is within me.
